A bit about me...----------------------------Currently a producer for NBC News, one of America’s biggest TV news networks, where I plan, persuade, coordinate and cajole to pull together stories from around the world under intense deadline pressure.Recently in Israel and the West Bank covering the current crisis -- an emotionally draining and difficult assignment. Before then, spent quite a bit of time travelling around Ukraine, where I managed a team of up to eight people to cover the lead up to Russia's invasion and its aftermath. I work with correspondents, cameramen, digital artists and video librarians to spot stories, develop scripts and source the best footage and graphics possible for packages watched by millions across NBC platforms, including Nightly News, the Today Show, NBC News Now, NBC News.com and MSNBC.Before NBC I was at AFP, where I was a Multimedia Editor combining text, video and photos to create eye-catching and shareable online stories for clients including Yahoo News, MSN and Mail Online. I also live-blogged major events and wrote features.I started my career as a correspondent at Reuters, running around the Middle East reporting on politics, conflict and finance, before moving to London to cover British politics. I was proud to be part of Reuters' Libya revolution reporting team, which was nominated for a Pulitzer.I’m a fluent Arabic speaker, my Spanish is good and I can even speak a little Japanese.What interests me…----------------------------World news -- major events from around the globe, but I also enjoy working on more contemplative human interest stories and quirky features. I also have a strong interest in politics and diplomacy, especially issues that impact everyday people.
