Participate effectively in policy and strategy development as a member of the country senior management team.Responsible for budgeting and forecasting processes and associated monitoring and reporting.Overall responsibility for in country finance management including accounting, auditing, and monitoring.Facilitate and coordinate internal and external audits in-country and follow up on recommendations.Responsible for quality assurance of accounting and financial control as per the organization policies, rules, and regulations (Financial Handbook) and relevant national legislation.Responsible for establishing, implementing and/or developing local policy and procedures for risk management.Responsible for preparation of donor’s financial reports.Responsible for preparation of monthly financial report to HQ.Manage the cash flow and ensure there is adequate cash in country for activities/operations.Responsible for reconciliation of bank and cash accounts in country.Financial capacity assessments and review of partners’ financial systems and budgetsTrain local partners staff in all finance and administration aspects.Responsible for human resources management in country including staff contracts and payroll in line with organization internal procedures and local legislation, recruitment process, performance review process and staff management in coordination with country manager.Focal point in all IT, security, and safeguarding matters in country.Conduct international internal audits missions upon organization international office requests: Conducted internal audit for International Alert in Ukraine (Kiev office) two times in April 2017 and September 2017. Conducted internal audit for International Alert in Mali (Bamako Office) in November 2019.
