Supporting all sectors of government, the private sector and individuals find their areas of scope and investment.Town Planning has to ensure socio-economic advancement through providing appropriate solutions in housing for residential development , creation of centers for employment , education and health facilities, as well as leisure centers alongside other amenities.Balance competing land uses including accommodating vulnerable uses and members of society ( youth, women,young and social uses, churches etc) .I gained colossal experience and guided projects like the Botswana National Spatial plan 2036 and championing declaration of the whole country into a planning area which comes about to holistically relate to developments in an integrated manner.A well traveled individual:- Dubai; UK; SINGAPORE; Netherlands, Denmark; South Africa. Lesotho, Namibia, Rwanda etc........ just in the last 5 years only ; attending events like the ESPON in Europe. Show less

Lecture in Town Planning within the Department of Architecture and Planning - was able to introduce the true meaning of urban design and place making. Was responsible for a Acquiring land throughout the country for the corporation to develop housing units - within that period the corporation acquired 500% more land than ever before into its land bank - the corporation continues to develop property within such land even 3 years since i left- This involved making strategic decisions on where to acquire land and subsequent detailing of land into smaller portions, undertaking EIAs, GEOTECHNICAL surveys- topographical and cadastral… Show more Was responsible for a Acquiring land throughout the country for the corporation to develop housing units - within that period the corporation acquired 500% more land than ever before into its land bank - the corporation continues to develop property within such land even 3 years since i left- This involved making strategic decisions on where to acquire land and subsequent detailing of land into smaller portions, undertaking EIAs, GEOTECHNICAL surveys- topographical and cadastral surveying then acquiring title deeds- through that period programmes like POHI ( public officers housing scheme) acquired 450 plots all over the country- we employed strategies such as using GPS coordinates to ,map the location of all plots- The corporation completed properties in Ghanzi 190- Maun 210; Palapye 500, Serowe 266, Jwaneng 120; Gaphatshwa 250, Phakalane 566; Francistown 260, Lobatse apartments 120 and Mahalapye 200. With many developments underway while many were ready for development . I supersized development of 100 SHHA- low cost houses in Mochudi and Gaborone ensuring completion of many units despite challenges of low fees for Contractors.The highlight was establishment a rapport with land managers and business alike and earning the Corporation great respect.
