INTERNAL CONTROL- Establish and promote sound internal control and procedure- Maintain, update, and document all aspects of internal control system- Plan & execute audits as per Audit Programme and other external Audit Reports- Perform general control reviews and perform application reviews- Follow up on audit queries and ensure that corrective actions are taken- Respond to Auditor General and Provincial audit’s findings (exceptions) and ensure recommendations are implemented - Ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulations and any other relevant prescripts RISK MANAGEMENT-Assist in establishing, communicating and facilitating the use of appropriate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) methodologies, tools and techniques-Assist in working business units to establish, maintain and continuously improving risk management capabilities-Assist in facilitating the enterprise-wide risk assessments and monitors priority risks across the organization-Assist in ensuring effective alignment between the ERM process and Internal Audit and Risk Financing DEBTORS MANAGEMENT- Verify lease agreement of all government property- Verify records of disposed property- Verify financial records of tenants- Identify defaulters and handover to legal section- Identify illegal tenants and handover to legal- Ensure that reminder letters are issued to defaulters- Verify leased properties with asset register (PREMIS
