As a PhD student in Education I am eager to perpetuate my cultural lens and voice in spaces where we are not, through my everyday interactions. As a Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander (NHPI) community leader my goal is to disrupt societal constraints placed on marginalized, underrepresented communities like mine. I am a mother, a daughter, a student, a cultural practitioner, a community leader, a mentor, a published author, ordained minister, and a force to be reckoned with.
