Customer: Research projectTarget engines: 1- First Generation Traction motor2- SOFRACI3- EDC (Compressor Control)4- DC-DC converterJob responsibilities:- Managing EV activities.- Technical reviews for team tasks during the four projects.- Understanding MBD (Model Base Design) by using MATLAB, Simulink and State flow modeling and simulation.- SW generation from matlab Models using Embedded Coder toolbox- Creation of research studies (e.g. Sensorless Speed estimation, and temperature estimation of electrical machines)- Provide technical support and coaching within the team.- Induction training of newcomer system and embedded software engineers on the electrical machines operation and control strategies.Create specification models by using MATLAB, Simulink and State flow modeling and simulation, Validation plans and calibration guidelines to define, validate and calibrate algorithms.- Reviewed design, specifications, models and processes.- Perform algorithm verification / validation (using WinAdes, CANalyzer and ScanDaig ....) by using different hardware test benches.- Work closely with software engineers to optimize algorithm and software structure.- Developing new tools and introducing new ideas to simplify task execution.- Understanding of electrical machines operation and different control approaches.- Defining the work process (Review, Check List, Guidelines, ….)- Provide technical support and coaching within the team.- Handle immediate customer technical needs and project pops up including detailed specific product discussion.
