As the Regional QHSSE Manager, my role is to support the Senior Management Team in maintaining and improving QHSSE performance across multiple sites. I’ll be responsible for implementing and overseeing the Integrated Management System (IMS) and Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and fostering a safe and healthy working environment. This also involves regional responsibilities like managing QHSSE matters for current assets and future projects, leading QHSSE teams across the region, handling incident reporting, and overseeing performance reviews. I’ll also lead the integration of Environmental & Social (E&S) excellence and ensure that our management systems are aligned with the standards set by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, and compliance.

 Provide HSE and technical support for Department managers to Improve HSE Performance. Led HSE team to establish standards and ensure that potential hazards are identified, understood, and controlled Ensure company’s HSE policy is fully understood, implemented and maintained. Ensuring that local HSE Legal requirements are fulfilled  Implement and drive HSE committee delivering a structured platform enabling documenting and recording actionable plan. Prepare the company’s annual HSE audit plan, lead and coordinate the audit teams, and support leaders in building action plan for audit findings Follow-up contracted activities and issue PTW to ensure HSE requirements are implemented. Liaise with Training department to build and implement a robust HSE Training plan

 Develop, establish and embed robust HSE standards for the sites fully meeting Syngenta requirements. Deliver appropriate support and steer to management ensuring the delivery of the sites HSE performance sustainably. Ensure meeting qualitative and timely reporting for HSES; Guarantee that all compliance to internal or external regulation are understood and met. Implement and drive a Site HSE committee delivering a structured platform enabling documenting and recording actionable plan. Support site manager in preparing the management team to receive official HSE management audits. Deliver HSE insights are supporting the delivery of ‘fit for purpose’ and compliant OpEx and CapEx budgets. Drive establishing and sustaining an HSE culture on sites through leadership. Ensure delivering Gap analysis, regular reviews, assessments, remediation and/or mitigation are in place on HSE New management system. Support Procurement in assessing HSE for supplier & contractor’s selection and yearly evaluation. Prepare and own the training matrix to meet site’s need based on job nature and/or Risk assessment and follow up the implementation through building and reviewing yearly Training calendar. Develop, maintain & monitor an HSE Improvement plan (1, 3 & 5 year’s) to steer tangible and sustainable improvements. Ensure culture change is supported towards a transformation journey mapping. Implement effective Emergency Management System (EMS) platform and team for the R&D sites.Supervise the implementation of the occupational health monitoring program through the medical specialists Ensure the implementation of Quality internal CoPs Drive the Continuous Improvement Process
