Hello, my name is Morenike Ayoku but most people call me Mo. I am currently a senior at the University of Maryland and my major is communications. In the near future, I plan on becoming a television/ radio host. For the past few years, I have dedicated my time to achieving my hosting goals; every Monday, I host a show segment called “Drop the Pop” that airs on 88.1 WMUC-FM College Park radio where I curate background research for news headlines, write and report on-air for a weekly news broadcast. I have a passion for entertainment news and I am always up to date with pop culture. I also had the amazing opportunity to intern at Voice of America-- the largest U.S. international broadcaster for 4 months and I can honestly say that my experiences have given me hand on expertise on how to handle a fast-paced and impromptu media field. The media and entertainment industry is an ever-growing market and my goal is to step foot into the industry's doors and deliver the skills, knowledge, and experiences that I have developed over the years.
