In 2022, I completed my BA at Roskilde University in Cultural Studies. In 2024, I graduated with an MSc in International Relations (Global Refugee Studies) at Aalborg University Cph. Here, I learnt to identify the complex and varied nature of causes and implications of migration issues, and improved my methodological and analytical skills in problem oriented group work. As a researcher, I focus on the physical locales of Afghanistan and South America (particularly Colombia), and am interested in border studies and cultural communication.Through my work with IOM, I have gained experience in various programmes such as MiMS and MiMOSA to process AVRR applications in a timely and humane manner. I am furthermore immensely proud to have been selected as a 2024 for Humanity in Action (Copenhagen) where we are committed to creating dialogue between democratic societies to respond to challenges faced by modern society.Through my renewed commitment with Roskilde University, I am embarking on a journey towards an MSc in Global and Development Studies, acquiring and honing skills such as project management and policy analysis, and gaining a deeper understanding of topics such as sustainability and inequality.
