Duties and Responsibilities:-- Responsible for managing IT infrastructure including but not limited to physical/virtual server and storage hardware, databases, Backups, Tape Library and DC/DR infrastructure.- Ensure the Team keeps the infrastructure secure from internal and external threats and that all privileges are proactively managed- Lead technical design, implementation, and management of server technologies- Responsible for effectively managing allocated budgets- Manage contracts and relationships with external suppliers and support organizations- Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects from initiation, product selection, testing, configuration, and deployment.- Coordinate with IT team ensuring all documentation and procedures are kept current and accurate- Maintain the operations support rotation, ensuring support availability- Development of annual IT plan, providing inputs regarding infrastructure & service requirements- Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered - Coordinate with external vendors to ensure services are provided as per agreed SLA's

#Roles & Responsibilities:-- Install, create, & administer Oracle Database 10g, 11g & 12c.- Move data between databases & files, advanced backup & recovery concepts, deploying database monitoring practices using Oracle EM Database Control and Cloud Control 12c.- Convert Oracle Database single Instance to oracle Database RAC 2 Nodes or more using R-Config and DB-Template utilities.-Configure & scheduling Offline backup by using Acronis software with Tape library. - RAC Database and Oracle RAC on Extended Distance Clusters Installation & Configuration.- Managing Backup and Recovery for RAC, Backing Up the Voting Disk & OCR. Deploying a Flash Recovery Area , RAC Database Tuning, Managing Database Workload Using Services, and Load Balancing/Failover configuration.- Provisioning and monitoring security measures within the database environment.- Adding Nodes & Instances, Managing Oracle Software & Applying Patches, Design for High Availability.-Oracle Data Guard 11gR2 Installation & Configuration in physical/ESXi Server (ASM file system/local file system) -Configuration & adding Physical and Logical standby database using active data Guard with applying logs for reporting and backup purpose. administer the STBY Databases by using DGMGRL and SQL.
