► Maintaining close collaborative links with the industry throughout my research; explored & implemented a unique innovative modulation scheme for a Microwave Transceiver system; an effort resulting in an improved wireless transceiver performance. ◄► Tasks accomplished:• Developed MATLAB simulation for TCM with RS codes.• Researched in multi-dimensional trellis code modulation.• Implemented multidimensional TCM for QPSK based modulation schemes using MATLAB & mex-routines.

► While working on 'Pulse Doppler Radar baseband' in a team play, achieved a discernible improvement in detection probability, lowering the probability of false alarm by modifying old implementation of clutter cancellation and CFAR algorithms, rolling out the algorithm in MATLAB & C. As a key member in Telemetry project, coordinated team members & designed proof-of-concept simulations. Modified the matching criteria of an already implemented signature verification system, thus improving its performance. ◄► Targets achieved:• Studied & analyzed a Wireless Telemetry Transceiver.• Carried out C-Porting of pulse Doppler radar receiver algorithms for Real-time Processing.• Implemented MATLAB for automatic signature verification system based on image processing techniques.

Innovated first of a kind VoIP media processor & implemented industrial standards such as, 3GPP2 Turbo Codec, ITU-T compliant DTMF tone detector. Reversely engineered radar baseband processor & suggested algorithmic enhancements as MATLAB based simulations. ◄► Tasks accomplished:• Designed Signal Processing part of a Pulse Doppler Radar receiver using MATLAB.• Worked out problem of DTMF detection within speech, for Interactive VOIP & Voice response system based on Avaz Media Engine.• Designed a General Purpose Tone detector for detection of telephony tones.• Designed & implemented code coverage statistics generation tool for verification of verilog code.• Analyzed & implemented a 3GPP2 Turbo Codec using MATLAB & floating point C.• Studied Echo Cancellation problems.
