Engaged as a Civil Engineering Intern at the University of Ottawa, I play a pivotal role in a transformative project focusing on advanced building inspection methodologies. Collaborating within a dynamic student team under the guidance of Professor Miroslava Kavgic and Mr. Sajad Salehi, a visionary PhD candidate and founder of the uOttawa Sustainability Hub, I am contributing to the implementation of cutting-edge approaches, incorporating tools like thermal cameras and blower door tests. Actively involved in industry collaboration, I work closely with energy advisors to address real-world challenges. My responsibilities also included contributing to the development of a comprehensive database for AI-based models, aimed at revolutionizing the accuracy and efficiency of building inspections. This experience has been instrumental in honing my skills in sustainable construction practices and emerging technologies within the field of civil engineering.
