Mobolaji Peace Olagbemiro Email and Phone Number
I am at the forefront of executing and delivering the mandate for infrastructure development in Nigeria in my current role as a Construction Management Engineer at UNOPS. We recently completed a $1.1 million project, restoring maternal and child healthcare in Yobe State, on the heels of completing the $2.3 million oxygen plant project in Borno State, Nigeria. From conceptualization to execution, I am committed to ensuring that each project delivers quality and aligns with the highest efficiency, quality, and environmental sustainability standards.I am Mobolaji Peace Olagbemiro, popularly called Mo, and I love the thrill of finding sustainable solutions to challenges and problems within the built environment. I understand the urgent need to provide infrastructure that is developed with careful consideration for economic, social, and environmental implications, informing my mission to foster a holistic approach to sustainable infrastructure for current and future development.Towards pursuing excellence and leadership in my chosen domain, I joined the American Society of Civil Engineers, in 2012, where I rose from affiliate member to Branch President, which means I can continue to drive ASCE global initiatives in my locality. I am actively engaging and building my capacity to drive change with a membership in the Green Building Council and the Nigerian Society of Engineers, an EDGE expert. In 2017, I made my debut in international development working at Creative Associates, Inc. I had the privilege of contributing to USAID-funded projects in post-conflict areas, where my responsibilities included managing key aspects of construction projects such as road drainage systems and structural rehabilitation . Before then, as a structural design engineer at ENL Consortium Ltd., I was deeply involved in the design and construction of roads and residential, educational, and commercial buildings. The challenges faced and conquered during this phase have shaped my resilience and adaptability in navigating complex construction landscapes.I co-founded Youth Arise Football Academy, a family-oriented football talent development organization. At YAFA, we work with parents to build a professional football career for children. When I am not at work, you might also find me serving as a youth minister at church, mentoring young people around me, crocheting, or learning a new language.Let's connect and explore ways we can collectively shape the future of infrastructure.Send a note to mobolajipeace@gmail.com
