Manages a small team of private sector housing officers and a Deposit Service assisting homeless households to access private sector tenancies and consequently avoiding having to stay in temporary accommodation. The Deposit Service also aims to assist accepted homeless households who are ineligible for social housing and who's only housing option is the private rented sector.Our Private Sector Housing Team provides Disabled Facilities Grants and Discretionary Repair Loans to eligible private sector residents. We also respond to housing condition complaints, HMO Licence applications as well as conditions in non Licensable HMOs. We also address empty homes as and when they are brought to our attention.
