Senior Workplace Technology Engineer
Current• M365 admin suite management • Work with the IT and UC Manager to proactively suggest, define, launch, and drive organizational and operational initiatives.• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and the Global IT Manager to develop the strategy which will form part of the collaboration roadmap.• Supporting a multi-location IT infrastructure for several hundred users.• Influencing the IT and application architecture, ensuring solutions bring benefits to the end users, ensuring solutions are prepared for operational deployment (especially robustness, reliability and scalability).• Documenting the solutions implemented and ensuring both technical teams and end users are fully versed on the new offering.• Responsible for system enhancement and streamlining.• Provide estimates, system descriptions, test plans etc., for the many ongoing enhancement activities.• User Technical Support.• Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions.• System upgrades both at workstation and Server level.• Purchasing of IT Equipment and software in line within agreed budgets.• Provide fast and accurate troubleshooting and rectification of reported faults.• Asset management and repair logistics.• Software Testing, Implementation & configuration• Ensure smooth integration of mail, file servers and any other required components and technologies• Automation of daily task with PowerShell• Server, user management via scripting in PowerShell• Managing O365 mail, AzureAD, ADSynch, Email policies, exchange hybrid environment with PowerShell• Automation of Microsoft 365 Secure Score actions with PowerShell.• SCCM patches, updates, task sequence and application catalog/ software center management
