About Modeste Tinjong

Born in Cameroon in 1973, Modest obtained a Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Douala in 1999 and a Master’s Degree in Marketing Management at ESSEC Business School in Douala (2004).Modest began his career in 2004 in the printing Industry with a small company specialized in embroidery, screen printing, production and supply of gadgets. A year later 2005, he stepped into the brewing industry when he joined Union Camerounaise des Brasseries (UCB), where he managed a distribution center after which he moved to Guinness Cameroun SA where he worked from 2006 to 2011. In Guinness Cameroun SA, he launched soft drinks in the off-trade, created a fifth Distribution partner in Yaoundé and succeeded to change the Route to Market in south- west Cameroon amongst other achievements.In March 2011, he started with UNIPAL CWA, Sole Representative of Procter & Gamble, Arcor, Heinz, Kellogg’s, Siniora, Mondelez, Red Bull in Central Africa as Regional Field Sales Manager & later Area Sales Manager. He supported the launching of UNIPAL in Cameroon with emphasis in Central, South, East and North regions. In October 2015, Modest returned to Guinness Cameroun SA as Distributor Manager in charge of Management of Distribution Partners. He supported Partners’ Transformation in Yaoundé with 03 new Distributors installed.Modest continued his career since July 1st 2018 with Danone as Sales Performance Manager, then Sales Manager since 01st January 2020 in charge of developing Channel Distribution & challenge Route To Market and Sales Force EffectivenessHe contributed to the establishment of a highly motivated and committed team that produced remarkable results and strongly supported the growth of the various company over the years.
