Responsibilities: To manage Pre-sales, sale-support, detail engineering and commissioning support for Liquid Food Processing Projects of Tetra Pak’s Customers in the developing world (Asia, Africa & Eastern Europe region) from the newly launched Global Projects Hub at Pune, India (1st outside of their Principals in Sweden). Accomplishments: Lead the Electrical and Automation discipline for more than 20 large (>3 M€) Dairy & Beverage Projects successfully in India, Macedonia, China, Egypt, Pakistan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Romania etc. for global & large local Customers like Amul, Dutch Mill, Nestle, Schreiber Dynamix, SwedMilk, Yili, Mengniu, Al-Safi, Al-Rabi, LebanLait etc. • Sold, designed and managed the first TetraPlantMaster (a branded automation solution for liquid food processing based on S88 guidelines) though Global Projects, Pune to M/s Schreiber Dynamix, Baramati – a coveted customer of Tetra Pak India. I was also the Solution Architect and Project Manager for executing the order which involved migration of the long obsolete ABB’s SattCon system to Rockwell Control Logix platform within a limited shut-down period.• Sold and managed the 1st migration project from the obsolete SattLine System to ABB’s latest 800xA system in a tight 4-hour shutdown of the critical Amul-III Dairy at Anand, India.• Sold the 1st Cheese Plant for Tetra Pak India to Gowardhan Dairy, Manchar as support to the India Sales team.

Responsibilities: To manage engineering for large domestic Automation & Instrumentation Contracts for various industry verticals, viz., Mines, Minerals & Metals, Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Fertilizers etc. Accomplishments: • Supported the Sales team to win one of the largest order in MM&M vertical – Vedanta’s 1.4 lac tons p.a. alumina refinery project at Lanjigarh, India. Also lead the engineering for this project leading 20 engineers at one point of time. • Lead the engineering for Lead smelter plant of Hindustan Zinc, Udaipur, India and got appreciation from Customer in landing the project successfully under very tight time schedule.• Lead successfully several large modernization projects within TISCO, Jamshedpur (a steel giant of India) including Blast Furnace (G) and Slab Caster.• Lead successful expansion/ modernization projects for Tata Chemicals, IFFCO Fertilizers, GNFC, BPCL, IOCL etc.

Pune, Sanaswadi - Aluminium Foils

Responsibilities: To manage plant maintenance, engineering and projects for the Aluminium Foil Rolling & Converting plant to support the Production team meet monthly targets and to achieve company’s ambitious growth plans. Accomplishments:• Lead the maintenance team to re-build the fire-gutted Foil rolling Mill within a short span of 45 days without compromising on quality of material & workmanship.• Lead the engineering team to build and stabilize the new Foil Converting (Printing, laminating etc.) plant in a short span of 6 months.

Renukoot, Up, India

Responsibilities: To build or modernize plants and/ or new facilities (in Rolling Mills Division) and then be responsible for its operations & maintenance. Hindalco is world’s largest Aluminium Rolling Co. Accomplishments: • Built the Continuous Caster plant (from Pechiney, France) and subsequently managed its electrical maintenance. • Lead the prestigious INR 200 Crore+ (≈50 M$ of that time) Hot & Cold Mill Modernization Project @ Renukoot from Electrical discipline at optimal cost and within the stipulated 9 month shut-down from MG-sets & Relay-logic to the latest drives, PLCs and Hydraulic systems while enhancing its capacity, quality and range of Products (Davy McKee, UK). • Lead the Electrical team to build a green-field Foil rolling & Converting facility (INR 200+ Crore Project) at Silvassa in a record time of 1 year using very old second-hand machines of WW-II era, purchased at throw-away price.
