Modibedi is the Founder and CEO of OAIG; a data & software investment holding group. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and business executive with diverse and deep ICT background. Modibedi is director that services on the boards of some of the investee portfolio companies. In addition he serves as an independent non-executive director of few companies where he is the chairperson of technology governance subcommittees, member of the audit and investment committees. As an Director and CTO of cyberCure a boutique information and digital security company a OAIG subsidiary, Mr Oliphant assists companies as a trusted digital, IT governance and cybersecurity advisor to some of highly sorted after CIO’s, CFO’s, CEO’s and boards of directors on cyber security and key technology trends. His 20 years’ of corporate experience include IT leadership, strategy, IT operations ,cyber risk, business continuity, data analytics ,re-engineering, commercial, general management, sales, private equity M&A , deal origination activities, corporate finance, management consulting, leadership development and board directorship from fulfilling roles at JSE, Accenture, UCS, Massmart, HardwareCare, Cornastone, FNB, Wolfpack ,CoGTA and ProstarPaints. Mr Oliphant is Software Developer by training who holds a MBA from Henley business school (UK) and IT NDip from Unisa (SA). Modibedi also holds CIO Practice certificate from Wits (SA) and a Chartered IT Professional- ITCP (SA). He became a Wolf Cub at age 6 and went through to becoming a Scout Master at the age of 18. He admits that scouting shaped his character and informed his life philosophy. He is a proud Husband and a father of three wonderful Oliphant cubs. He is passionate and dedicated to developing the next breed of leaders that can take AFRICA to its rightful place within the nations of the word hence actively involved in community and church activities aimed at developing leaders.
