MBD’s engineering staff and our engineering alliance program is arranged with the creative ingenuity and flexibility that we and our customers have come to expect. Since 1984 many of our engineering needs have remained very basic, such as simple commercial and industrial structure and connection design, while other areas have evolved to meet the market needs for higher safety, value and efficiency. At MBD, we often accomplish these needs by modularization. The idea is to move as much construction work off of the construction site and into a controlled environment as possible. We have learned a lot about what designs work best over the past 27 years by tracking, comparison studies and following up with our customers.
