I love books. All kinds of books. Goodreads and Barnes & Nobles are my happy place(s). I spend more time there than on Facebook. I try to put my book-reading fetish to good use writing book reviews.I love this amazing world in which we live. I consider it our responsibility to preserve it and hand it to future generations better than we got it. I like to get my hands dirty with gardening, especially green and sustainable gardening. I'm obsessed with Trekking through plant nurseries looking for plants I’ve never seen or don’t have – a favorite pastime of mine, actually. Driven by this obsession, I started a landscaping business some years ago which also offers environmental services.I am a fashion nerd. I love to make clothes and I especially love costumes. It’s magic and living art...right alongside the works of Da Vinci and Picasso. I have a fashion house and a ready-to-wear clothing line. I recently established an ethnocentric clothing and accessories store to showcase and market the products of young Nigerian designers. I'm passionate about women and gender equality. I believe in equity AND equality. I regularly volunteer for this and similar causes and I mentor women in business and actively encourage economic empowerment for women and young girls. It is a cause for which I’m always available.I have a bucket list that includes climbing the Himalayas, trekking across the Sahara (yes, the Desert), sky diving and watching the Aurora Borealis, aka, the Northern lights...live. Learning to swim is on my to-do list even though water and I haven’t always gotten along in the past. I’d also like to learn Ibo (Nigerian language) and Mandarin (Chinese).StarTrek is my alternate reality and Gene Roddenberry is a Genius.
