I recently graduated from Simon Fraser University majoring in Computing Science with a Minor in Business Administration. My programming experience started back in high school when I enrolled in the Java programming course. Ever since then, I have been insatiable to learn and develop my skills in all things tech. I got my first internship back in 2019 at Al Mal Capital which helped me grow my passion for finance. I got a full scope of what the investment world feels like along with the programming side of developing systems software.My 2nd Co-Op experience was an unforgettable 8 months spent at WelTel Inc. Where I worked as a Full Stack Developer. I was able to work in an agile environment utilizing modern tools such as Jira and docker all while developing the front and backend of the WelTel application! Moreover, my involvement in company meetings helped expose me to the managerial side of technology.I recently completed my 3rd internship at Seaspan ULC as the VR & 3D Visualization Intern. I handled their state-of-the-art HoloShip VR experience. Moreover, I developed their models and implemented them to enhance vessel visualization using their built-in game engine and Lua scripting. This helps engineers visualize and improve their decision-making while designing their massive ships!Lately, I have also delved into the world of game development and tested myself in some game jams while utilizing the Unity game engine! I also joined the Godot Wild Jam to learn more about how that engine works. This learning experience is helping me create my own custom C++ engine for a better understanding of how game engines function! I am deeply interested in emergent gameplay and I am constantly figuring out ways of how to implement that in games I am creating.All in all, I strive to continue being happy while doing what I love.
