Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Thani, an alumnus of the American University of SharjahHe was President of numerous clubs. In addition to being a distinguished member of the School of Business and Management (SBM) Student Council, He was elected President of the AUS Student Council in 2002. Upon his graduation, he went on to serve as a prominent member of the AUS Alumni Association, and was acclaimed the representative of the Northern Emirates Chapter.In appreciation of his valuable achievements at AUS, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani was entrusted in 2010 with the position of Director of the Office of H.H. the President of the American University of Sharjah, which he is currently holding.He was appointed, in March, 2011 as a Member of the Board of Directors of Air Arabia, the first & largest low cost carrier (LCC) to operate in the MENA.H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani is also the Managing Director of the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club and the Managing Director of Grab ‘n Go Food Outlet, Tamween (Catering Co.), and Al Nawras (Hospitality Co.) and the Chairman of EM Holdings – (EM Wire, Santos International, Ascent Advertising and the Co-founder of Musafir.com, UAE's premium-experience travel website, incorporated under Universal Tourism, an IATA accredited Travel Company). HE is also actively involved in raising awareness and charity for various consortiums. He climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and the base camp of Mount Everest to raise awareness about malaria, which is a leading cause of death amongst children in Africa and he also climbed Mt Acongagua of the Andes range, the highest mountain in the Americas at 6,962 meters in collaboration with Reach Out to Asia.Specialties: Objectives are to create a manageable and sustainable future for all his companies’ business interests.
