Lab: Epigenetic and Gene Regulation Research Lab.At Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) as Research Assistant in Epigenetic and Gene Regulation Research Lab. My project based on identification of Molecular Characterization of CG Gene as Trithorax regulator gene in Drosophila Melanogaster. Molecular techniques which I used in my research work includes RNA Isolation from S2 cells (Schneider 2 cells), TURBO Dnase, CDNA Synthesis, Endpoint PCR, Gel Elution, PENTR D TOPO Cloning, and Restriction Digestion.

I worked in following Departements: PhlebotomyRoutine and Special ChemistryMicrobiologyHematology (CBC, Blood Grouping)

I work here as lab trainee perform the Routine chemistry on microlab 300 and Special Chemistry test on Ichroma 2 and screening tests. In Molecular section i performed extraction and using Quantstudio PCR extraction of HCV, HBV and Covid 19 RT PCR.

I worked on following:1. Molecular Biology Department: Roche Cobas x 400 series (Automated PCR).VERSANT kPCR Molecular System (Automated PCR).2. Immunology Department: HLA typing (DNA Isolation, PCR , Gel electrophoresis from patient sample).3. Chemical Pathology:Alinity ci series automated instrument which uses for RFT, LFT and some electrolytes (serology).4. Microbiology Pathology: Urinalysis from Roche Cobas u 6500 series urine analysis and microscopic analysis moreover, Biochemical test, Gram Staining, API 20 E, media preparation
