Mohamed is part of Freshfields’ International Arbitration Group based in Dubai. He has been based in the Middle East for over a decade, advising multinationals and major corporations in high-value international arbitrations and cross-border litigation, with a focus on commercial disputes, M&A claims, major projects disputes, trade and distribution-related claims, regulatory risks and enforcement proceedings, particularly in frontier jurisdictions.Before relocating to the Middle East, Mohamed was based in Melbourne, Australia for several years representing clients in commercial disputes across various sectors before State and Federal Courts. Mohamed is fluent in English and Arabic, and is admitted to practice as a solicitor and barrister in New Zealand and in Victoria, Australia. He is also admitted as an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Mohamed studied Bachelor of Law at Victoria University of Wellington and completed Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting at University of Auckland.
