Major Projects Undertaken :Project Manager for Ghareba – Shamal Al Shuaibah Emirati Housing Project.Transportation Modeler for Barwa Financial District, Doha, Qatar, Responsible for updating Transportation Masterplan for Qatar (TMPQ) in VISUM. Coordination with MMUP and presentation of model results was among major tasks accomplished. The base model was validated using traffic counts on major links using the Tflow fuzzy. Successive averaging/iterative balancing technique was used to balance the observed and modeled volume. Design year 2026 matrix was adjusted using MMUP guidelines. A sub area model in VISSIM was generated for the design year and was calibrated for the route choice. Project Manager, “Traffic Management Plan for Al-Shifa (Southern part of Riyadh)” Responsible for conducting required traffic surveys, analysis of traffic data , identification of problems and issues and formulation of traffic management plan in terms of short term, medium term and long term measures. Major traffic surveys include Parking Survey, Speed and Delay Survey, Road and Intersection Inventory, Traffic Volume survey using pneumatic tubes, Saturation Flow survey and Pedestrian Survey. The data collected was analyzed to Estimate Network congestion, Performance of weaving sections, Evaluation of Pedestrian Facilities, Determination of route efficiency, Assessment of parking demand and Intersection Capacity Analysis.
