Product Manager for Barco Demetra, a novel and powerful platform for skin imaging, augmenting the expertise of healthcare professionals with decision support algorithms and artificial intelligence.

After doing the 'In-Company-Project' of my MBA at Barco, I was hired as a Process Excellence & Change Manager. This is an internal consultant role, responsible for various strategic initiatives and change and improvement programs and projects. The first assignment involved the implementation of some of the recommendations made during the In-Company-Project at the Healthcare division, as well as further rolling out the Value Engineering (design-to-value) program across Barco. As part of this project, I also set up, implemented, and institutionalized a methodology for reporting and analyzing gross margin and its drivers.Within the scope of the Value Engineering program, I also introduced quantitative pricing research methodologies like conjoint analysis (including ACBC, CBC, etc) and MaxDiff at Barco. In order to do this, I studied these various methodologies in detail and got trained in them, after which I applied them in various pilot projects in an end-to-end way (survey design and feature mapping, scripting and programming the survey, field research, analysis & reporting). These projects were highly successful and delivered valuable and actionable insights for various objectives (pricing, portfolio build-up / line extension, R&D roadmap inputs, ...).Currently, I am responsible for designing and implementing partner management programs and processes, with a focus on services (sales and delivery).

Other activities include a business trip to one of the BRICS countries, and an 8-week In-Company-Project (ICP). As part of the Vlerick Full-time MBA program, I did an In-Company-Project at Barco's Process Excellence Office. This project entailed a 'Value Engineering' exercise and analysis of a complete product portfolio at Barco's Healthcare division. Deliverables included a high-quality report and a set of grounded, actionable recommendations, of which some have been implemented already.

Project engineer for capital projects, in particular equipment for aseptic filling processes.
