Working with the Donor Relations team, I was part of a group responsible for the processing of donations given to the Salvation Army. I was a member of a team to assist Pemco Insurance with a data conversion process, as the company transitioned to a new database system. Our team was responsible for entering customer data that did not transfer into the new system automatically. I was also responsible for creating test data, to assist the customer service agents in training for the new data system.

On 2 separate occasions, I was a game tester at Nintendo. Our responsibilities included testing games, looking for errors or mistakes in the programming, then recording these errors in a database for the game developers to see. With my English background, I was often assigned the task of having to check all the written text within the games, ensuring correct punctuation and grammar.

I was a member of D-Group, who was part of the larger Programmability team. We were responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation of Visual Basic 7, which became VB.net. I was given the responsibility of maintaining the glossary, modifying content to reflect the changes in the software language, and creating entries for new VB.net elements. Also, I was responsible for creating abstract content for end users.
