Research Programme Productive Margins: Regulating for Engagement - Life Chances: low-income families in modern urban settings. Co-produce new ways of envisioning and engaging regulation. Connecting communities in Bristol and South Wales to co-produce new forms of engagement in decision-making across politics, policy and the arts using arts based methods and approach. Community engagement needs radical re-design. All too often decision-making is top-down and decision makers do not adequately engage, deeming ‘community engagement’ a passive exercise.
