Manager is responsible to supervise performance and activities of the Production department .i Making strategy to meet the targets by achieving planned production, decreasing cost of production, maintaining quality of the product & process keeping the plant’s operational parameters within controlled conditions.ii To plan for shutdown maintenance of the plant.iii To arrange resources required for the maintenance.iv To plan for purchase of additives and other consumables.v Planning of Capital budget.Responsible to organize:i Working of Shifts and General duty staff.ii Arrangement of man power for holidays/shutdown and emergencies.iii To sanction leaves/overtime of workers & Officers of Production Department.iv To ensure the implementation of companies quality, safety and environmental policies.v To maintain departmental strength as per approved organogram.i Responsible for preparation of skill matrix charts of all employees working in his department in order to evaluate their further training needs.ii To guide his subordinates for smooth and efficient operation under controlled conditions.iii To arrange for preparation of training course ware for his department.i To ensure the implementation of quality plan of Production Department.ii To supervise that work is being carried out in accordance with relevant WIs, SOPs.i To participate in various meetings with management, discuss the plant relevant problems and communicate the decisions taken in these meetings to the relevant staff.ii To coordination with other departments for smooth operation of the plant and for necessary maintenance / rectification / amendments during shutdowns.iii To maintain the office work for the discharge of day to day jobs & correspondence with senior / top management in this regard.i To implement applicable ISO 9001:2008 clauses.ii To ensure the implementation of statistical techniques in order to monitor and analyze various parameters for further improvements.

1. Go through the operator & shift engineer report register for monitoring previous day mill operation & performance.2. Interact with shift operator & shift engineer regarding any abnormalities and activities 3. Monitoring of all operating parameters of raw mill & coal mill section. Checking all related trends for operational behavior.4. Checking of daily stoppage analysis with reason of stoppage. 5. Take site round from lime stone and clay reclaimer to feeding to Raw mill and up to blending silo.6. Take site round from raw coal to feeding coal to coal mill until up fine coal hoppers.7. Arrange feeding of coal as per required.8. Any abnormalities in equipments will take up with concerned department for maintenance.9. Responsible & ensure all equipments are running with interlock & from CCR. Any bypass to be discussed & logged properly.10. check the activity of shift engineer, technical patroller & technician at site.11. Ensure to carry out improvement jobs. 12. Modification of the equipment, change of parameter as per system requirement.13. Plan preventive schedule maintenance in coordination with the other sections (mechanical, electrical. Instrument)14. Maintain stock as per budget.15. Take round of coal, limestone and additive materials to checking any foreign materials to be remove it. 16. Coordination with instrument department to carry out w.f. calibration. 17. Ensure maintenance request system in place & filled properly by shift people against all problems.18. Man power scheduling (shift schedule) including all team.19. Take care & prevent all unsafe practices.20. Indent of material, tools & other required things.21. Take care all housekeeping of sections with timely.22. Ensure the safety available for safe of site job.23. Training & development of the subordinates.

1. Go through the shift report register for monitoring the previous day plant operation and performance. 2. Interact with the shift operators and shift technician regarding any abnormalities.3. Monitoring of all operating parameters and checking all related trends for the operational behavior.4. Responsible for the complete activity including the control room operation and site activities.5. Responsible for man power allocation as per requirements.6. Coordinates with all interventions in case of break down.7. Take over the direct responsibility for the control any unit in case of complicated situation.8. Ensure proper use of the equipment in particular to avoid damage.9. Ensure quality and quantity of product in the shift.10. Responsible for stoppage analysis with the clear reason and also responsible for stoppage booking against responsible departments after detail analysis.11. Take site round.12. Any abnormalities in equipments will take up with the concerned department for maintenance and back in operation after maintenance during the shift.13. Cross check the activity of the control room operator, engineer, technical patroller and other field staff.14. Modification of the equipment, change of parameter as per system requirement.15. Calibrate the weigh feeders by physical measurement of material and correction as per requirements.16. Ensure the maintenance request system in place and properly filled for the breakdown and attached the duplicate request form with the production report.17. Maintain safety PPE’s for all shift staff.18. Guarantee the safety of the equipment and of the people working under responsibility.19. Take care and prevent all unsafe practices.20. Take care all housekeeping of section with timely and good disposal practice.21. Training and development of the people for existing and new assignment.
