Works with the Hotel maintenance staff to develop a Reliability Based program to proactively address equipment issues.• Ensures the safety and well -being of ones self and the entire host working in the building• Prepare for schedule pre opening , refurbishment project without disturbing guest activity• To ensure effective implementation of all Engineering policies and procedures to implement an effective and efficient day-to-day repair, maintenance and technical service operation supplying services as required maintaining the equipment’s, buildings and landscaping in optimum condition.• To manage an active hotel energy and maintenance to ensure that stringent energy management and maintenance procedures are in place and supported by all the departments in the hotel.• To establish consistency preventive maintenance plan for all the machines, equipment’s and all the hotel tools to ensure a smooth daily operation.  Monitoring and controlling all mechanical and electrical plant for the hotel during shift period, and taking action where necessary. Execution of preventive maintenance schemes, and the work order control system.(FCS) Handling carrier chillier plant mode 19XR, 5unit each capacity 800 ton, ERU, AHUs, FCU, PIU, Cooling tower, Kitchen Exhausts fan, fire fighter Exhausts fan, primary& secondary pump, cold storage, Kitchen equipment, and refrigeration system . PPM, trouble shooting of all equipment, taking round on daily bases, taking reading of chillier, cold room freezer, cold room chillier.  Making monthly conception report, monitoring all this system thru BMS system and working independent and under pressure. Training of staff, how to conduct the preventive maintenance work, and monitor work quality. Supervision of subordinates, supervision of the preventive maintenance work in the hotel for all equipment, Monitor utility consumption and recording. Responsible for room maintenance procedures, plant-rooms/equipment/systems assigned by Director of Engineering Checks the work load and efficiency of various sections , Quality checks completed work orders randomly to make sure all the equipment is in good condition. Set and maintain service standards, clearly describes standards, constantly compares performance to standards. In charge of the operation of all system equipment, takes appropriate action if necessary, monitors working condition all E&M plant of the hotel, updates on latest information from log books and service reports. Conduct regular training on fire emergency procedures ;and be a leader in controlling fire emergency action team ,conducting technical job knowledge training, lists training needs on an on-going basis using guest comments, observations, performance appraisals etc.

Managing the Main Chiller plants for both the main Hotel and Qasr Al Sharq Palace. H VAC system, refrigeration system and cold Storage system. Making yearly schedules of equipment for PPM ,donning inventory of H VAC store and raising PR’s as per requirement, making monthly report regarding guest room compliant, outlet, all meetings room and function hall. Preparing duty schedules for staff .Conducting daily meetings with the staff to upgrade our standard of service .planning daily work procedure and Briefing employees as per plan.
