Singer/Songwriter
Sometime in 2009, when I was in 6th grade, I wrote my first song. Since then I have written well over 500 songs (I stopped counting after the 391th in December 2014). I focus on personal human feelings and emotions, so most of my songs have that emotional and catchy melody. This skill comes naturally to me, for which I truly feel blessed and grateful. I started out as a heavy metal and rock artist in 2012, then dramatically shifted entirely to EDM-POP in 2022 when I finally took my first music production lesson using Ableton 11. School is keeping me real busy so I am still not there yet to produce myself. If I find a producer for my songs i would be incredibly grateful as then I can solely focus on my singer-songwriter role, which i enjoy the most. My current influences are: Marshmello, Alan Walker, Avicii, Max Martin, Finneas, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Coldplay, David Guetta, Kygo, Zedd etc.Past influences: Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, Radiohead, Dream Theater, Disturbed, System of A Down, Iron Maiden, Oasis, In Flames, Insomnium etc. If I don't find a producer, I plan to eventually produce myself whenever I learn these three necessary skills thoroughly: Vocal Production, Sound Design, and Mix-Master for modern day EDM and Pop genre. Undergraduate Student Researcher - Deng Lab
As part of UROP program, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant at a semiconductor research lab. I fabricated monolayer samples on different substrates through exfoliation, encapsulation, PET transfer, and PPC transfer methods. I initiated, strategized, and designed an experiment to reduce MoSe2 verification time by gathering and analyzing data to find similarities and patterns among collected samples, and identified an acceptable contrast range (0.150 - 0.400) for verifying MoSe2 monolayer on PDMS. Through this, I reduced MoSe2 monolayer verification processing time by ~60 times (from ~30 minutes to ~30 seconds).
