Assisted with loss prevention duties to deter theft such as watching suspicious customers on the sales floor, filed criminal activity reports on the Auror application, as well as removing stolen, damaged, and expired merchandise from inventory through the Star-Plus inventory management system. Activated corporate authorized markdowns, as well as authorizing store-level markdowns to sell through upcoming, outdated product. Weekly tasks include completing store charges reports by matching weekly invoices, ordering store supplies, confirming and signing off on payroll, and emailing vendors related to any store level issues.

Responsible for ordering and merchandising all dry, refrigerated, and frozen grocery products. Ensures shelves and reach in freezer bunkers are properly stocked and merchandised in a timely manner. Greet customers to offer assistance and help customers with any shopping needs. Faces all shelves throughout the day to make product accessible for all shoppers. Responsible for checking expiry dates on all products to ensure all product is fresh for consumers. Works with vendor representatives to submit orders, as well as placing orders independently. Leads a team of 3-4 individuals to delegate tasks to ensure proper workflow in a timely manner. Assists the receiving department with unloading truck deliveries and coordinate with all department heads to ensure all product is sorted and delivered to the proper department.
