Responsible for up to 120 employees and contractors distributed globally with a budget up to 15.8m to support and improve Travelport’s Hotel, Car, and Rail product offerings (acquiring content, normalizing, and enhancing the content and then distributing through APIs and POS). • Generated efficiencies and higher collaboration with the creation of our content vision, and strategy, optimizing the annual objectives and quarterly prioritization, and rolling out scaled Agile with a focus on alignment and transparency. These actions reduced friction, reduced waste, and improved moral. • Improved delivery flow and operations by consolidating 11 development centers to 6, instilling full team ownership, accelerating migration to the cloud, and rewarding DevOps practices.• Led company initiative to restructure our flagship API solutions from a proprietary framework and centralized control to an open-sourced, standards-based practice which empowered teams, eased adoption, and increased speed to market.
