His experience as the Head of the Danish Coastal Rescue Services has demonstrated to him that no problem should move further up the organization than the first level of competence that can solve it. It is setting a team up to perform efficiently. What he means is that, when we are put up against what appears to be insurmountable challenges; leadership and teamwork will have a direct impact on people (not numbers on a spreadsheet), that is when you bring out the best in others and yourself. Mogens thrives in environments where he can mobilize people and set all the ships sailing in the same direction to reach their common goal.
