I completed my External LL.B(Hons.) in 2009 from the University of London. In 2011, I completed my LL.M in International Development Law and Human Rights Law, specialising in Governance from the University of Warwick. My primary areas of focus at the Research Society of International Law (RSIL) included international humanitarian law, preventive detention and the enforcement of human rights law treaties. I was also a member of the Conflict Law Centre at RSIL. I co-authored three books on humanitarian law, specifically, preventive detention.After working for more than six years at RSIL, I decided to join my alma mater, University College Law, where I taught Public International Law and European Union Law for three years. In 2021, I joined the International College for Legal Studies (ICLS) as Associate Director Academics. I have set up a Centre for Global Research at ICLS where I intend to conduct research and writing on International law and ADR with students and stakeholders alike.
