Strategic oversight of Wind Empowerment organization.

The Precision Casting Facility (PCF) manufactures single crystal and directionally solidified turbine blades for the aerospace industry.- Manage all the dimensional inspection operations of turbine blades across four production areas. Responsible for direct management and development 50+ inspectors across three shifts.- Accountable for the whole SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People) to the customer and responsiveness to tactical Business plans. Ensures compliance to Company policies and legislative elements associated to the different production areas. - Execute the planning and balancing of load and capacity in the short and medium term to meet the customer demands and achieve the Business area strategy. - Drives continuous improvements through lean management and six-sigma methodologies.

- Manage the Supply Chain transfer of all RTM322 “make” parts to Turbomeca, as a consequence of the €293M divestment agreement signed in 2013.- Responsible for the planning, execution and overall governance of the transfer, including direct reporting to Project Director in Defence and Programme Executive in Supply Chain.- Acts as a focal point for the customer, supporting Turbomeca “make & buy” industrialization plan by coordinating cross-functional transfer activities across all RR manufacturing plants (Bristol, Derby and Sunderland in UK, Oberursel in Germany), to the customer facilities in France (at Bordes and Tarnos).

- Manage the delivery on time, cost and quality of all Installations Supply Chain design & make components for NPI Development and Flight Test Programmes. Satisfies operations and build line requirements.- Responsible to coordinate the Early Supplier Engagement activities between the NPI Project team, Installations Engineering and Purchasing team, and the external Suppliers.

- Coordinate Scandinavian and North American management teams for the planning and the execution of the footprint strategy, ensuring a smooth capability transition between sites without compromising customers’ service level. - Responsible to identify, assess and mitigate risks at project level, and to report directly to the Service Executive team- Manage closure internal and external warehouses, coordinating parts transfer between sites and across regions.

- Responsible to design and implement a new process to reduce components scrap rates of products in service, by either extending their operational life, or by challenging their original design for life.- Responsible to coordinate the unit cost activities between Programme and Supply Chains to improve ESV position.

- Responsible to develop and deploy the governance for the Integrated Product and Production Readiness (IPPR) process across Aerospace, Marine, Defense and Nuclear businesses. Focus on New Products Introduction project teams. - Achieved Green Belt certification with a DMAIC project that delivered 15% improvement in business compliance to the IPPR process within 6 months. Performance rating: “H” (top 10%).

Worked on Research and Development of Offshore Wind Turbines (OWT) focusing at lowering the Levelized Cost of Energy by using Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA) techniques. Managed to identify the main vibration modes of an OWT using operational data collected during idling of the turbine. The Stochastic Subspace Identification (SSI) technique saves the costs of the traditional rotor stop testing (stop the energy production, offshore landing boats, men hours, equipment, special sensors installation) providing comparable results but using the natural excitation of wind and waves (preventing the damage of the structure during excitation).In particular estimated damping coefficients are key to the business because, if validated, could drive signification unit cost reduct by allowing a slender tower design.
