Since our inception in 2004, RDC Films has focused on the theatrical and digital distribution of foreign films, with the aim of keeping North Americans of various ethnic cultures connected with films from their home countries, and to introduce interesting and entertaining foreign content to the boarder North American market.Our current model is the utilization of digital platforms such as Vimeo on Demand to facilitate the sale and exhibition of films. The key to our distribution model, however, is how we promote and effectively reach a broad audience or an audience that traditional ethnic/cultural channels wouldn’t reach (i.e. 1st and 2nd generation Canadians/Americans and beyond). To do that, we utilize an interactive social media campaign to target potential viewers.
