Mohamad Abbas is a Civil Engineer, and an Environmental and Water Resources Engineering PhD candidate at the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the American University of Beirut. Mohamad has been working on several Civil and Environmental Engineering design and construction projects and has been assigned as a consultant for several local and international institutions, companies and NGOs.Mohamad’s PhD research mainly focuses on surface water quality modeling and management using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing.Mohamad is also the co-founder of uPaint, a state of the art product, backed up by a machine learning and image processing software, that allows anyone, to paint ready-made or customized Artwork through numbers.
