This approach has identified the issues with precision for Technical Support to fix, resulting in Scrap rate reduction by more than 50% for some products for the pilot Assembly Line, with annual scrap savings of > US$200K.Second BIG WIN within 2.5 months on a more challenging Assembly line. Scrap rate dropped by 20% with similar "triangulation" methodology and use of "tool-to-tool" matching approach. The root cause was quickly identified, and a novel solution put in place, resulting in a waste reduction of > US$300K annually. In Jun’19, an additional new role was added to my job responsibility - to lead the Plant in Corporate driven BD Production System (BDPS).
