Throughout my 20-year career, I've built a diverse and impressive background in process engineering and operations management across the oil and gas industry. My experience spans the entire project lifecycle, from engineering and pre-commissioning to commissioning and start-up, in both normal operating plants and large-scale megaprojects.Currently, I work at Atlantic Methanol Production Company in Equatorial Guinea, having gained significant insights from my previous role at Saudi Methanol Company (Ar-Razi), the world's largest methanol complex, where I dealt with five distinct plant technologies. Prior to that, I spent nine years at METHANEX, a global leader in methanol production using a Davy Process Technology licensed process. Leveraging my expertise in different technologies and layouts, I was recently exclusively consulted for process technology selection in a Russian methanol manufacturing project. Additionally, I broadened my horizons for nearly four years through a part-time consultancy with CARBON Engineering & Consultancy, where I led the technical team, supported marketing, and assisted in developing biofuel process technologies and benchmarking methanol manufacturing studies.Earlier in my career, I spent four years with E-PROM, an operation and maintenance company serving oil, gas, petrochemicals, and power plants. This period provided invaluable experience working in various process units within a UOP licensed refinery and a UOP licensed petrochemical plant.
