As the Consortium MEAL Coordinator, I ensured the timely and high-quality delivery of all MEAL requirements, strengthening systems to track project outcomes and outputs. I support TS for project ToC and Log frame development. I collaborated with the Consortium Director and partners on assessments, standardized data collection methodologies, and institutionalized a project MEAL framework and Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT). I coordinated with finance for Value for Money data compilation, supported partners in reporting on programme indicators, and shared monthly data analysis with stakeholders. Additionally, I documented project success stories, consolidated periodic program reports, and met all reporting requirements with well-analyzed data. I led all programme MEAL processes, including baseline/endline evaluations and Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) surveys, ensuring reports met quality criteria and integrated recommendations into planning.I promoted accountability through training and coaching, managed project complaints, and ensured a proper complaints mechanism was in place. I documented participation and accountability activities, promoted transparency, and designed programme activities to include feedback mechanisms. I coordinated the design and implementation of accountability systems, built staff capacity for effective accountability, and strengthened the beneficiary feedback mechanism. Additionally, I supported the Learning & Research team in communicating program learning, facilitated cross-learning workshops, and regularly presented key M&E findings to the Senior Management Team (SMT) and area teams for further development.

In my role as MEAL Officer, I was responsible for designing Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks and plans, as well as developing Indicator Performance Tracking Tables (IPTTs). I compiled output tracker reports, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency, and managed data management and analysis platforms. Field visits for monitoring were conducted, with quality field monitoring reports produced. Additionally, I assisted in designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative assessments, and conducted quarterly program data assessments to support internal and external reviews and evaluations. Additionally, I carried out project evaluation such as baseline, endline and midline from ToR developing up to final report.I built the capacity of fieldworkers and project staff on digital data collection and management. Ensuring accountability to beneficiaries and transparency in program interventions was crucial. I managed and followed up on project complaints, maintained and updated the complaint database, and communicated with beneficiaries regarding their feedback. I participated in the development of tools and guidelines for data collection, collation, analysis, and reporting. Supporting all MEAL activities in Southern states and representing the principles and work of Save the Children to various stakeholders were also key aspects of my role.
