Mohamed Abdirashid is a global climate advocate, international negotiator and communications professional with over seven years of experiemce in public relations, digital and social media campaigns in the nonprofit sector with extensive experience in both international and local organizations.Mohamed worked as community services specialist with management for Africa governance, democracy and transparency under the AU-funded program. He volunteered as a peer educator on adolescent developmental projects for several groups and experience in leading governmental and non-governmental institutions from local to the globe at the different levels. Also, he has participated in numerous high-level forums including COYs, COPs, LDC5, ACS23, WYF, Doha Forum, ASSTC, WBGYS, TEDinArabic, WIF23, and EDD. Mohamed have also worked and volunteered with various non-governmental organizations including YOUNGO and Major Group for Children and Youth at the United Nations. He has been recognized as a most influencer young leader from least developed countries for his work, constructive ideas and promoting global goals agenda 2030, on how to make the world a better place.In various positions held in INGOs and UN agencies, he coordinated, managed, and planned different complex projects including but not limited to youth development, climate change, governance, democracy, and human rights. With a strong passion for innovation and sustainable future, strives to achieve social impact by reducing social disparities in vulnerable communities and empowering global young leaders. Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Geology and Water Resource and Master in Governance and Leadership.
