I am a structural technical office engineer with strong structual design and structural analyses experience. This experience comes from working as a jonior structural design engineer of reinforced concrete structures for more than 4 years. In addetion to a mster degree in structutral adesing of cold formed steel sections to resist especial loads such as blast loading using finite element ABAQUS and LS-DYNA in modelling cold-formed steel thin-walled structures to resist moderate blast loads. I have started my career with profissionaldesign experince the thing which gave me strong start in tecnical office enginnering shop drawing skills in construction field as a second stage of my experience.I used what I learned in previous stages of work and study in the master degree to apply to construction field as atechnical office engineer. For example; when I worked in qunatity surveying I used first principals of claculataing centroids of nonuniform shape of retaining walls and sides of artificial lakes. I calculated the project quantities of reinforced concrete and all relative quantities required for the nonuniform shaped structures effectively suong only 2d CAD drawings. another success I amnged to acomplish during my career was claculating required reinforcement rebars quantities required for a large scale projectusing vba and excel and cad 2d cad drawings whic had no Bent Bars Schedules. Only ordinary 2d CAD drawings were availale converted from Autocad Structural Detailing version. I have written a vba code to extract the text descriptions of the bars and export it to excel using object oriented programming technique then analyzed and manuplatd the text in Excel sheets to extract the total weight of each category of the rebars.Now I working on shopdrawing and QS calculations of structures using cad drawings and Excel sheets. In addition to learning more techniques to modelling structures using BIM technology espcially in Revit from Autodesk.
