He joined Cornell University in 1994 and graduated with a PhD in Engineering in 1997 when he started working at GE Global Research then GE Oil & Gas before joining GE Aviation. Mohamed is an executive sponsor of the GE Aviation Asia Pacific American Forum, and is active participant of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life fundraising efforts.
