Mohamed is currently the General Manager of Life Cycle Engineering, and Services Performance and Analytics in GE Aviation Services Engineering, leading the entire engineering team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving all GE commercial engines (GE90, CF6, CF34) and Engine Alliance engine GP7200 totaling more than 15,000 engines in service.

Development of waste heat recovery technology to enable 25% increase in industrial plants efficiency. Strategic development of GE Oil & Gas multi-generational plan in compression and electrification technologies including development of world's first sour gas integrated motor-compressor. Development of Ormen Lange subsea compression solution, world's 1st. Developed GE Oil & Gas team in India and Poland from zero employees to more than 100 in the span of 2 years resulting in major cost reduction in cost of engineering. Introduced program management, new product introduction (NPI) process rigor & six-sigma in Vetco-Gray acquisition. Winner of GE Energy Vice Chairman Innovation AwardPresented twice to the GE board of directors on subsea O&G development & waste heat recovery. Led the development and release of GE O&G artificial intelligence design tool that cuts the quoting and design time of compressors from weeks to hours.

Executive band job responsible for GE Oil and Gas portfolio of R&D programs. Overseen the successful introduction of the world 1st sour gas magnetic bearing on an offshore platform in Qatar. Development included qualification of a total system solution: new manufacturing process for machining thin stainless can, electro-magnetic evaluation, new potting compounds, and qualification of welding and heat treatment process. Magnetic bearing operating successfully with no interruption. Responsible for customer interaction and management throughtout technology development.

Led the development of GE's first tuned gas turbine combustion nozzles enabling 3 ppm NOx in 9E gas turbines through actuation of fuel split to eliminate can-to-can combustor variation. Certified GE Master Black Belt. Participating in developing design for six-sigma training materials at GE and has taught many of the session around GE. Voted best trainer around the company. Participated in the evaluation and integration of GE Wind acquisition. Business grew from 500MM with no margin to a very successful $7B business in 2010. Participated in setting the business offshore wind strategy.

Led the evaluation and deployment of e-BOM tools across GE, which are in use to date in all of GE. Led the successful development of e-Business based design for six-sigma, lean, and design productivity tools across GE.

Participated in design and optimizing of x-ray tubes. Participated in the design and optimization of several GE products including the Ulysses X-ray tube (utilized in GE lightscan Computerized tomography scanner).Hired GE's 1st 4 engineers in the Bangalore Engineering Center, which grew to become 5000-engineer strong. Participated in developing GE's strategy for globalization in India and China.
