- Analyze Tender Documents (Instruction to Tenderer, Scope of Work, Specifications, Contract Conditions, HSE requirements, Environmental requirements,…)- Prepare and maintains an effective database of costing information for labour, materials, and sub contract works.- Take off material quantities from drawings and prepare the bills of quantity in accordance with the company’s procedures.- Issue enquiries to suppliers and sub contractors, detailing the scope of works, drawings, specifications, bills of quantity, and conditions of contract.- Analyze of quotations received to ensure compliance with the specification.- Prepare Comparison sheet for Suppliers/Subcontractors quotations- Calculate the labour requirements based on the company norms.- Prepare the priced bill of quantity or cost breakdown.- Prepare and submit requests for information during the tender period and monitors that replies are received from the client.- Prepare a schedule of estimate non-compliances, and recommend tender qualifications to the management.- Undertake value engineering and preparation of alternative offers.- Control the design consultants where employed for design and construct tenders. - Undertake outline design and budget pricing.- Maintain records of all meetings, correspondence and documents issued during the tender.- analyze Proposal Time Schedule- Prepare Method of statements for the target proposal- On contract award participate in the preparation of the contract documents, pricing details, project budget hand over to the project team.- Assist the project team with resolution of budget difficulties and specification interpretation.- Participate in the development of the company systems and procedures.
