General Responsibilities for All Lines of Business• Ability to view department’s workload for claims and task reassignments, monitoring and setting reserves, following processes and escalating in accordance with the guidelines processes.• Assist with consistent review of processes and potential risks to ensure the department operates in the most efficient manner possible, reducing transactional costs and risks to the business.• Ensure allocated claims are properly managed, recorded and completed by ensuring full and proper data capture, case status and reserve controls and accuracy.• Perform independent reviews of policy benefits and approves expenses for claims cases based on interpretation of terms and conditions of policies and within authority limits.• Proactively handle escalated calls and ensure complaints are resolved, where possible, and logged in accordance with business policy.• Participates in self development, through claims-related training, mentoring, content specific training, as well as self feedback to Team Leaders on progress.• Achieve individual performance objectives against expected levels of quality and quantity.• Authorize claims for settlement within approved limits.• Works closely with the other parts of the organization for the overall objective of improved customer service and treating all customers fairly.

General Responsibilities for All Lines of Business:• Process and adjudicate claims in an efficient and effective manner according to the company policies.• Determine liability, analyze loss details and negotiate with insured and/or third party in order to settle claims.• Provide quality and professional claims service to customers• Ensure claims procedures, documentation is adhered to the claims management requirement.• Set and monitor reserve adequately and timely and ensure the authoritative level laid down is complied with.• Manage the claims portfolio effectively including but not limited to achieve the claims metrics targets.

Position Description• Keep good relationship with the brokers, partners, customers • Issuing policies/invoices/certificates • Enter and refresh submissions in e-Start (according to underwriters’ request and without underwriters’ activity in respect of tacit renewals)
