Eng. Mohamed Hamuda is a social entrepreneur who is passionate about bringing change at both locally and globally, shown through his deep engagement on a variety of development programs and international networks putting youth at the forefront facing challenges of the 21st century . Mohamed is a powerful advocate, effective leader, and organizer within his community. He founded H2O organization in 2011, designing and implementing different civic engagement and advocacy projects. His experience has given him a depth knowledge of the community and voluntary sectors in Libya and the region . Through H2O he has been able to accumulate a record of credible work engaging the Libyan youth in taking responsibility for their social needs and providing the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to address them while enhancing their monitoring role for a transparent and representative institution.Mohamed also serves as the general manager of the Libyan Public Policy Forum (LPPF), an independent non-profit think-tank that works as a national dialogue forum providing a specialized environment to discuss issues. Through LPPF he has become aware of relevant national and local government policy initiative as well as engaging on a regular basis with other key Libyan and international influencers to create reform and promote transparency and good governance in a innovative approaches. Mohamed always motivated to develop links between Libyan community and communities in other countries and has shown a commitment to an understanding of the benefit of intercultural dialogue both locally and internationally through Joining the Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum developed and led by young people being locally engaged and globally connected.
