I am visionary leader in the field of Risk Management. I was assigned the role of Chief Information Officer ( CISO ) in one of a leading financial Institution in Qatar. I have more than 30 years of board experience on areas such as Information Security / Cybersecurity, Technology Risk Management and Operational Risk. I have also contributed at national level risk management initiatives by holding several lead positions such as Co-chairperson for Financial Sector Information Risk Executive Committee ( FS-IREC ) under The Qatar Computer Emergency Response Team ( Q-CERT) also I was a member of Qatar Central Bank InfoSec Committee.In addition, I was honored with several awards and recognition such as the ‘ CISO 100 ‘. This award recognizes 100 prominent information security professionals in the Middle East who are able to work independently as well as enlist the involvement, commitment and contribution in the field of Information Security. I am also Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional ( CRCMP). I participated as a conference speaker on several events . I wrote a booklet of Information Security for Board and Executive Management .
