• Manages parts operations within the suppliers to maximize return on investment through.• Ensure all incoming Parts are checked for conformity and price and return any non-conforming or damaged part with credit request or insurance claim.• Control purchase and ordering procedures to maintain department profitability. • Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. • Ensure that Brilliant Mechanical Workshop has the parts and spares it requires on hand in stock.• Establish and maintain a balanced inventory and proper stock levels that ensures customer’s needs are met. • Identify fast vs slow movers and maintain appropriate stock levels of each.• Ensure security and accuracy of stock levels through conducts a perpetual/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.• Perform monthly stock take and ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system• Follow-up and resolve all customer requests and complaints. • Implement and control the stripping and proper placement of all used spares.• Ensure that the work environment is neat, organized and as clean as possible at all times.• Ensure the physical security of all used parts to prevent theft and losses.• Identify all useable parts on any vehicle purchased, or parts brought in and mark these to be entered into inventory according to costing sheet.• Ensure that all staff in Used Parts are fully productive and complete their work in the required time frames.• Ensure that parts are stored correctly so as to prevent damage and losses.• Provide Management and Guidance to all Parts staff.• Conducting staff performance reviews together with the Managing Director.• Ensure that all direct reports are properly trained and understand their roles and responsibilities.• Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures to effectively, including staff discipline, timekeeping, leave records, sick days, overtime records, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Reviews and assigns the delegated tasks for the day, received by the Shift Supervisor on to the Warehousemen.• Reverts with suggestions, on any probable clashes and evinced constraints in schedule to the Shift Supervisor.• Provides back up for the Shift Supervisor in the event of his non availability (prolonged or brief) in matters of coordination with the Scheduler, the Warehouse Manager and Ops Cell.• Interacts with the drivers, should further verification of their credentials and the shipment, be required. Reviews their documents for anomalies.• Monitors the warehousemen activities minutely and ensures capture of time taken and staff involved per transaction and SKU as the case may be provides detailed report on this to the Shift Supervisor on the TOS.• Ensures operations are conducted as per the SOP’s and the IMS Procedures in place and reports on any deviations with suggestions, if any, to the Shift Supervisor• Ensures preventive maintenance is undertaken on the MHE’s under his purview.• Supervises and delegates housekeeping tasks regularly for optimum space utilization.• Guides and motivates the personnel under his control for performance.• Coordinates and supports the Shift Supervisor in administrative tasks of his team. • Coordinates with the Stock Control Team for resolving discrepancies and non-conformities.

• Ensures the tasks assigned viz. Loading, Unloading, Receiving, Segregation,• Putaway, Picking, Sorting, commingling, moves, dispatches are conducted smoothly and accurately.• Report promptly on tasks completed individually and ensures probable discrepancies are bought to the attention of the Team Leader.• Interacts with client representatives (driver and hired labor) should the need arise.• Responsible for proper usage and preventive maintenance of MHE’s under his purview.• Is responsible for completing tasks bearing in mind the safety, health and sanitation measures in place.• Ensures housekeeping tasks are completed and reported on regularly.• Supervises the personnel under his control for performance enhancement. • Coordinates and supports the Team Leader in operational coordination.• Guides the Labor and MHE Operators in proper hygiene and cleanliness.• Coordinates with the Quality Control Staff and arranges to rectify anomalies on a one to one basis, should there be no need of escalation of issues.
