•Conduct vessel inspection and evaluation prior on hire.•Examining hulls, machinery, equipment, and systems onboard vessels.•Review vessels certificates validity.•Review vessel crew certificates of competency (COC) to ensure crew compliance with the minimum safe manning certificate.•Conduct regular / periodic vessel inspection to ensure compliance with safety requirement, international regulation and contract requirement.•In case of any vessel break down, inspect the vessel to confirm the extent of damage and its effect on vessel operation•After vessel repair, inspection shall be conducted as applicable to confirm that vessel performance before commencing operation.•Providing recommendations for repairs, maintenance, or improvements.•Assure implementation and validation of all required rules, standards & regulation regarding vessels operation.•Ensuring safety standards are met and addressing any safety concerns identified during inspections.

Vessels Maintenance & Dry-Docking: Oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities for marine vessels, ensuring they are in optimal operating condition at all times.Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for vessel maintenance, repairs, and operational expenses. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety or compliance.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all marine vessels comply with industry regulations, classification society requirements, and company policies. Coordinate with regulatory authorities for inspections and certifications. Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks.Performance Monitoring: Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and efficiency metrics. Identify areas for improvement and implement measures to optimize performance and reduce operational costs. Procurement and Inventory Management: Coordinate the procurement of spare parts, equipment, and consumables for vessel maintenance and operations. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely availability of required supplies. Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for marine incidents and coordinate emergency drills and training for vessel crews. Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors, contractors, and service providers for vessel maintenance and repair services.Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to vessel crews, operational staff, and management on matters related to vessel maintenance, repair, and operation. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vessel maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and incidents. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, technology upgrades, and best practices implementation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of vessel operations and maintenance activities.

Supervise ship repair project that include a wide range of cost effective services such as dry docking, maintenance and repairs, steel fabrications, mechanical repairs, piping, valves, machining and electrical works.Provide continuous update on project status for owner representative and ship repair general manager.Maintain good working relationship with owners' representatives and respond to their requirements in professional & timely manner.Responsible for the success of the assigned ship repair project with respect of time and scope in compliance with the Project Planning Policy
